2007-2008 RESIDENCY APPLICATION DEADLINE: The dermatology residency application deadline for the 2007-2008 academic year is September 15, 2006. Have all application materials submitted by then. Applications received after September 15, 2006 will not be considered.

The University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University Dermatology Residency is an AOA accredited three-year program offered as part of a nationally ranked dermatology program through Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). Our unique relationship with the allopathic dermatology residency program at CWRU allows residents at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center to benefit from the combination of training at a community hospital as well as a large tertiary university teaching hospital.

Our Dermatology Residency's outstanding reputation is built on a solid history of strong academic programs coupled with nationally recognized clinicians and researchers.

Our dermatology residency offers a balanced academic and clinically oriented program. Residents rotate through various inpatient and outpatient settings; including, University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center, University Hospitals Case Medical Center, MetroHealth Medical Center, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center. In addition, the residency offers a strong didactic program through conferences, Grand Rounds, and regularly scheduled lectures featuring acclaimed speakers.

The dermatology residency is approved to train 6 residents.

University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center is a member of the Lake Erie Consortium for Osteopathic Medical Training.

Rotations are done with Jenifer Lloyd, D.O. in her private office in Youngstown, Ohio. There is no housing available for this rotation.

Four week rotations may be set up by applying through Case Western Reserve University. These rotations are conducted at University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Housing is available at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center based on availability.
