| The UH Rainbow's Babies and Children's Hospital (RB&C) and University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center (UHRMC) Pediatrics Residency is dually accredited by the AOA through UHRMC and the ACGME through RB&C.
RB&C has been consistently named the "Best Children's Hospital" in the Midwest and a Top 10 childrens hospital nationally in annual surveys; including, U.S. News & World Report. Child Magazine has ranked our NICU as number one in the nation.
The curriculum incorporates both in-patient and out-patient experiences to prepare our residents to become outstanding clinicians and leaders in the field of pediatrics. The faculty at RB&C is comprised of some of the top pediatricians in the country.
University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center is a member of the Lake Erie Consortium for Osteopathic Medical Training.
Pediatrics Rotation Requests Rotations with the osteopathic program director, Robert Hostoffer, D.O., may be set up by filling out an elective rotation request form. For your convenience, a copy of this form in PDF format may be downloaded here, or you may submit the form online. Completed forms should be sent to: University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center Four week rotations at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital may be set up by applying through Case Western Reserve University. These rotations are conducted at RB&C, which is part of University Hospitals Case Medical Center. Housing is available at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center based on availability. |
